OMG

Well I am so excited and living in hope that Dottie is on her way for a visit. Chrissy Rollins on her blog has said she will tell tonight where Dottie is going to. If she is coming to Africa then we need to sort out lots for her to see. Also will need to get up early to go to the airport if it is true or maybe Denise will go meet her. Oh can't wait to see if we have another celebrity coming to visit.

Only problem is after visiting Jacqui it will be hard act to follow. I just hope she behaves and doesn't upset anyone. Oh there I go again! If she isn't coming here I will be so devestated. Oh please Chrissy answer a prayer.

CONGRATULATIONS

In the last couple of posts I have included my DGD. One sitting on a toadstool and the other IS her eyes are on my last ATC. Well today she has done so well I am bursting with pride.

In 2006 she ran in the races at her school St Columbas and she came first in one or two of the races and second in another. This took her through to the final race which she won. However she was told that has she had come second in one race she was not Victrix Ludorum.

Last year she won all her races and came second in Victrix Ludorum, but rules had been changed and she was not Victrix because she did not win that race.

WELL THIS YEAR SHE HAS JUST MADE IT and in her final year at St Columbas she is the Victrix Ludorum. This is after a knee operation and working harder than hard to get there.

She has made me so proud because she shows true grit and determination and just never gives up.

FABULOUS NEW KIT

Well as you may know if you visit snap and scrap often I am a member of the CT there.



I have just seen a fabulous new collaboration kit there called Morrocan Sunset. I LOVE IT.

Fairy in My Garden

I love Photoshop and was playing around with this for an ATC. I had to extract the picture of my DGD and this toadstool. Just loved it.

My DGD can't believe how many times she is on the web, but she is so gorgeous and of course much older now.

TIME IS FLEETING

OH Boy I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show and that song from it is so so true. I can't believe it is so long since I was here. My df Denise just told me of for not visiting her Blog more often and if she sees how long it is since I posted here she will also freek.

So busy just now with work, SPCA and dh being home that I really do find it hard to get things done. I owe 5 ATCs to the ATC club and need to finish them today. Also have a hybrid challenge to complete for Snap and Scrap as well as two projects to do for their newsletter so not a lot. Also friends coming for dinner tonight.

Which reminds me making roast beef and Yorkshire Pudding. Very traditional I know but it is winter here and what can be better. If you want good YP then it has to be James Martin's grandmothers recipe. Perfect every time but uses a lot of eggs. 1 egg per ounce of flour. Check it out here. I have perfected it a little better now and use much less oil, but they are still great and in fact I prefer that low oil taste.

Family Affair

Well Dottie is certainly being a busy girl and you must check her out at Jaqi's blog spot.

Meanwhile my grand children, daughter (their Aunt) and I went for a photo session last weekend at Heavenlee Scrapbooks here in Benoni and I have to say I hate having my photo taken but when I got our photos back I was really impressed with the quality of these and I just had to start making a book of them. I have made it very plain with no journaling except for some titles and a forward. I wanted plain pages which could be put into a photo frame if desired and more a coffee table book than a scrap book. I hope it comes out as well as I want but we will need to wait and see. Meanwhile here is a photo from the session of the four of us.

She is so interesting and the things she has managed to do at a young age is extraordinary I made the one on the left for her with Cirque Du Snap and Scrap and the one on the right was made with the Make A Wish product

She had a great time at the circus but she loved it when she popped out with the guys from NASA. Boy did she enjoy herself.

Well lets be honest there is something about a man in uniform. You know all the nice girls love a sailor and all that. I know cause I married one

I have to say these kits were very reasonably priced for such great couture.
